Stepwise usage method of ALCO-SCAN 5000 (referred as “unit”) would show how easy it is to use: Switch on the unit. After only 20 seconds, the unit is ready to use. The countdown is shown on LCD panel so that you know when the unit is ready to be used. The subject blows into the unit through a special mouthpiece for about four seconds. The unit analyzes the breath sample collected for about six seconds. The unit displays the results for 10 seconds on a brightly lit LCD panel.
