A laboratory urine drug test is when a urine specimen is sent to a lab for more accurate testing for determination of the contents of a urine specimen. Proper collection procedures; Chain of Custody (CoC) procedures & transportation guidelines must be followed as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations(CFR).
